All in all - pretty happy with the way this has turned out - the hallway wallpaper is now completeo.
What a difference it makes opening the front door now. before and afters again!

This turns out to be a big long room 6 rolls of wallpaper later. Im glad that part is done. But now i have to get into all the doors, get them trimmed up, trimmed down, bogged sanded and painted ready for re-hanging. Ill have to start a production line for painting, because the carpet had a nice thick underlay, all the doors need to be trimmed down at the bottom so they open and close nicely. Apparently we plane those down, but I'm not convinced thats the most efficient way to do it. Ill have a go anyway and see how it pans out.
Meanwhile, with a hour or two up my sleeve, i decided to put a backing on the kitchen cabinets! How excited was I! I stripped down some more MDF thin - oh so safely on the table saw - and nailed it up with a 3mm gap between, its bogged and ready for sanding and painting.
Moral of the story for me this week = "Just chipping away".
