After a slow start I've hit my stride in this room. On the surface i thought - hey - not so bad. Feeling quite confident - but once i got into this room i realised a few things:
- it was in pretty rubbish condition
- i forgot it had a window in need of renovation rescue
- its the biggest room of them all!
So after a few bumps in the room i made some good progress today, the wainscotting is complete. Its bogged and its ready to be sanded. Wardrobe door ready for sanding and undercoating. All good things - but the best thing of all is......
THIS! boss as window repair - i thought i was actually going to have to throw this window out! we even managed to track down another window to go here - it was going to be a lot of work popping it out and getting the new slightly smaller window in - but needs must - UNTIL .... i decided to have a good poke at it with a screwdriver and found that the ONLY thing rotten was the sill..... I can now add sill maker to the repertoire! its funny - i didn't even really think to much about finding a bit of wood cutting it down and hand sawing it up. its only been scraped and bogged but tomorrow ill sand it, no more gaps it, and prime it! YUSS!
ANOTHER cool thing is these lights going in! Kitchen won't know whats hit it! Tomorrow i have heat pump guy coming to see if our heat pump is okay to put in and I've booked the carpet guy for Tuesday next week! EEEKKKK!! Def need to be all done and dusted in the bedrooms ready for THAT!
We have a new pet! Petrified Pete - Mouse Mascot!

EEEWWWW!!!! That's gross!!!!
